Cut A Circle II Pressure Handle Repair Brace - Badge-A-Minit

Do you have a Cut A Circle II, made by Badge-A-Minit with a BROKEN Pressure Handle? Chances are you do.
Even if yours is not broken, you should still read this.
The amateur 'engineers' at the Badge A Minit company were apparently sick the day they taught basic stress calculations at school. They designed a feature that is intended to have pressure applied to it (it actually states "PRESS WHILE CUTTING") with cantilevered geometry.  Even a 5th grader is smarter than that.
To add insult to injury, the Badge-A-Minit's so-called lifetime warranty is a joke. Here is an actual chat exchange with a company representative:
Cindy: "what you need to do is send it in... Please include a daytime phone number along with a check for 15.73 or you can call with a credit card for the shipping back to you.
Customer: "You want me to pay for shipping two directions, for an item that has a lifetime guarantee?"
Cindy: "yes"
That means that you will need to spend .46 to have your own property repaired for 'free'.
It is interesting to note that if you buy any item from their web site, the maximum amount of shipping they charge is .00.   That's right, .46 for your stuff, and only .00 for new stuff. In fact if you purchase the exact same item, shipping is FREE!
You don't have to put up with that level of $hitty customer service. We have designed a universal repair part, which is simply attached with gel-style Super Glue or 5-minute epoxy. This new part will work okay on its own, but will function much better if you still have the broken handle, and can glue it in place with the new brace.
So if your Pressure Handle is not yet broken, you can use this brace to reinforce it, and keep it from breaking in the future, due to extremely poor design.
