    Description

    ATTENTION COLLECTORS!!  It’s time to relive your childhood memories and make some new ones!
    Up for auction is a beautiful 1987 Yamaha BW80 Big Wheel.
    This bike has been mildly restored and has been sitting in my personal collection for 10+ years.
    Most parts are original OEM and some reproduction.  This bike starts right up, runs strong, and needs absolutley nothing to ride. The Yamaha Big Wheel 80s are getting harder and harder to find and this bike would make an excellent addition to your collection or maybe a first bike for a little (or big) one in your life!
    The Yamaha Big Wheel 80 was produced from 1986-1990 in three different displacements - 80, 200, and 350cc.  The 79cc engine was a reed induction 2-stroke with a 3-speed transmission with an autoclutch.  The fat tires make it incredibly easy to ride on any terrain.  They are an absolute joy for little and big kids alike!
    Because parts are shared with the Yamaha PW80, availability isn't a problem.
    The red 1986 BW80 had the highest production numbers and if you see a BW80, it is likely a 1986.  The Blue BWs of 1987 are quite rare and I personally haven't seen one come up for sale in years.
    As you can see in the detailed pictures, this bike is in great condition and it will be difficult to find a 1987 in this condition again.

    This bike is for local pickup only.  Shipping IS NOT included and would be 100% buyer's responsibility.  Once payment is received, I will store the bike at no charge (up to two weeks unless otherwise agreed upon) until you pick up or arrange for shipping.  This bike is also for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction early.  This bike will be sold with a Bill of Sale (no title issued with this bike).
