1983 Yamaha Venture

1983 Yamaha Venture XVZ1200. NO RESERVE
This bike has not been ridden in years and is being sold in as-is condition as a project.
Figure it will need a complete going over. Needs a battery and the tires are 20 years old.
Buyer will have to trailer this bike home.
I was able to start the bike with a borrowed battery.  It idled okay, but that's all I know.
There is a gas leak whenever the fuel pump runs.  May be a cracked hose (??)
Electrically seems okay, the lights and instruments work.
Cosmetically fair, some scrapes and scratches, no serious road rash.
The emblems on the sides and rear trunk were removed at some point.
Includes optional Yamaha Venture Line backrest.
Has been stored in a dry garage, no obvious rust issues.
I have 3 keys for this bike and a clear Wisconsin title.  No owners manual
My sister-in-law recently passed away and I am selling this for her husband to help with expenses.
