1977 Yamaha RD400

Description

1977 Yamaha RD400.  Has just been serviced which included engine oil, carbs rebuilt and rejetted, forks serviced (with new oil, seals and boots), new tires, new battery, new grips, brakes bled, new fuel lines and new seals on the right side engine cover.  I have not ridden it since it was serviced a few weeks ago.  Bike starts on the first kick unless you forget to choke it.  Bike is in pretty nice condition for an unrestored 44 year old bike.  Only has 11,885 according to the odometer and I expect that's accurate but can't guarantee it.  I have only owned it about 18 months and immediately put in the shop to get it running better.  Tach was missing the part where the cable goes in the engine.  Was hard to find one.  Bike is not what I expected so I decided to get something else.  I guess I was expecting too much.  I am used to riding R1's and GSXR1000's and the power was too strange.  Front brake is weak,  you really have to pull on it.  I believe it probably need servicing.  Bike is very nice looking with most of the chrome good.  Paint has some scratches but in general good condition.
