This is a great piece of early advertising. This is a two sided printed cardboard handgun. The folded paper sounder insert has a young Baseball Batter and Catcher as shown. Printed on the Gun Hand grip is The "Bang" Gun for Young America. This was never used to produce the "BANG". Excellent condition with just some very minor soiling. 8" x 4 1/2".
This advertised Fern Furniture, Albany New York and was made by Spots Spec. Co Lexington Kentucky.  Patent # 1122485 which was issued in 1915. Directions: "Do not grasp handle tightly--swoop downward to produce explosion. If sounder breaks cut another same shape and paste on".    P
